     TREVOR PRESENTS

I REMEMBER IT WELL

At 14 Trevor ran away to sea. His father dragged him back from

a trawler sailing from Hull and insisted that he join the Royal

Navy as a radio operator. After serving on Submarines for a

number of years he left the RN and joined the Merchant Navy

becoming a Radio Officer and eventually after changing to the

navigation branch became a Captain with his own command.

After undergoing major heart surgery, Trevor wanted to put

something back into the NHS and started broadcasting with the

hospital radio service. Currently he broadcasts for a number of

independent radio stations.

At 79 he still bounces around like a 21 year old, he puts this

down to being married to a much younger lady. They have two

sons Daniel in aviation and Matthew who has now obtained his

degree in law and hopes to become a barrister.
