After working in the hotel industry both in the UK and Switzerland Phil joined the catering department of a College of further education

and after 25 years took early retirement. He has lectured to supermarket buyers and breweries on his favourite subject

WINE.

Travelled extensively to vinyards throughout the world and has been interviewed on commercial radio about his wine experiences.

During the last 10 years he has dedicated his spare time to Hospital Radio.

He commentates on sporting occasions and is an acknowledged cricket umpire for the Yorkshire league teams.

If he can he dashes off to La Belle France at the drop of a hat. He is currently setting up our broadcasting facilities in France
